It's made of Non-Stick Stainless steel. and also non -porous surface prevents cross contamination. Durable construction but I have to say this is the lightest rolling pin I've ever owned. I'm used to heavy rolling pins and this one is so light .It's made with a Hallow core and will not squish your masterpiece, while it's easy to use handle adds comfort and leverage when you work the dough.Dishwasher Safe .You can chill RollerMaster in the freezer or warm it up with hot water depending on the recipe .This would work excellent for older or young people that have a hard time with heavy rolling pins .It makes it easier to use because it's not so hard on your hands and arms .It would make an excellent gift . I received this complementary for my unbiased review.
